Which version of evolution were you running before the upgrade? It was one of evolution 1.4.6-1 or 1.4.6-2, I could however reproduce the problem with a newly created mail account that did not exist with this version. Also I forgot to mention that I could not see any relevant network traffic before the error message. It seems that evolution somehow tries this: [pid 7519] connect(34, {sa_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(143), sin_addr=inet_addr("0.0.0.0")}, 16) = -1 EINVAL (Invalid argument) Thanks.
