Description Xixi 2015-09-23 01:03:45 UTC
Description of problem:
Adding a link to the Satellite Manifest Web UI page that points to https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/tools/satcert (page permalink for the Portal Sat Cert/Manifest generation tool and documentation) would help customers find where/how to generate manifests and reduce support volume.

Maybe something like:
"You can follow these steps to use the self-service tool in the Red Hat Customer Portal to generate a new Satelite 6 Manifest: https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/tools/satcert"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite 6.1

Per 6.3 planning, moving out non acked bugs to the backlog

Comment 5 Roxanne Hoover 2018-04-24 15:21:21 UTC
No I don't think this is still valid:

1) Many issues will be resolved in 6.4
2) Addition of documentation may be helpful but should be re-evaluated after 6.4

Thank you for your interest in Satellite 6. We have evaluated this request, and we do not expect this to be implemented in product in the forseeable future. We are therefore closing this out as WONTFIX. If you have any concerns about this, please feel free to contact Rich Jerrido or Bryan Kearney. Thank you.
