Description Mahesh Taru 2015-09-29 06:43:40 UTC
Description of problem:
If organization name changed on satellite server, after performing spacewalk-splice-checkin on SAM the changes reflect in webui. However when generating report on SAM the systems still shows old organization name instead of new.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1.4

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. On Satellite 5.7 + SAM Enhance reporting setup, perform spacewalk-splice-checkin on SAM to fetch the data from satellite.
2. SAM webui --> Administer --> Reports --> Red Hat default report --> Run report --> note the systems and their organization name entry in report.
3. On Satellite, change the organization name.
4. On SAM once again run the report and verify whether the organization name in from the systems is getting changed or not.

Actual results:
Old organization do not change in report.

Expected results:
Organization name should get updated in report too.

The release of Satellite 5.8 we are deprecating the support of Subscription Asset Manager. The release notes for 5.8 can be found at https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/5.8/pdf/release_notes/Red_Hat_Satellite-5.8-Release_Notes-en-US.pdf.

I am therefore closing out this bug as WONTFIX. If you believe this to be an error, please feel free tor each out to either Rich Jerrido or Bryan Kearney. Thank you!
