Description Ronald L Humble 2015-09-30 16:25:47 UTC
Description of problem:
dnf partial upgrade with wildcards causes "dnf upgrade" to fail

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
dnf-1.1.2-2.fc23.noarch
How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.dnf upgrade v\* (available "v*" upgrades installed)
2.dnf upgrade
Last metadata expiration check performed 1:11:37 ago ...
Dependencies resolved.
Nothing to do.
3. dnf upgrade l\* (available upgrades beginning with "l" installed)

Actual results: :"dnf upgrade" reports "Nothing to do" in spite of upgrades being available.

Expected results:
"dnf upgrade v\*;dnf upgrade" should perform a complete upgrade of all available packages.
Additional info:
Fedora 22 upgrades act as have been accustomed to seeing. Exact letters used with wildcards not a factor. Note that the system tray icon reports multiple upgrades available prior to execution of these terminal commands. Choosing a "bad" letter is not a factor.
