When you try to edit the boot arguments (by pressing 'e' in the kernel selection list) it says that you can boot by pressing 'ctrl-x'. However, on some systems this does not work, the system does not boot. Pressing F10 makes the system boot instead. The information should reflect this and say something like 'Boot by pressing Ctrl-x or F10'.
