Description Greg Nichols 2015-10-08 12:55:30 UTC
Description of problem:

In an environment without DNS support, both server and SUT may have "localhost.localdomain" for host names. In this case, the network and kdump tests fail because they try and communicate with the server using the hostname "localhost.localdomain".

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

redhat-certification 2.0 20151007

Comment 3 Brian Brock 2015-10-14 17:58:32 UTC
verified in:
redhat-certification-2.0-20151013.el7
redhat-certification-hardware-1.7.1-20150901.el7

both network and cpuscaling tests complete with no related problems, on a system with blank resolv.conf and hostname localhost since boot.
