Description Richard Kennedy 2015-10-14 15:10:02 UTC
Description of problem:
Selecting help for libstdc++ has an incorrect URL for the online documentation at gcc.gnu.org.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

1:8.6.0-3.fc22

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. from eclipse select help->'help contents'
2. Select 'C/C++ library documentation' in the help system
3. Select libstdc++

Actual results:
message reads :-
>Not Found

>The requested URL /onlinedocs/libstdc++/manual/spine.html was not found on this server.

>Apache Server at gcc.gnu.org Port 80

Expected results:

Access to the correct online help

Additional info:

I'm not sure how to resolve this as the docs are specific to the version of gcc
that you are running. Maybe link to the version for the current gcc shipped with fedora? Or can you make a dependency to the libstdc++-docs package and access the docs locally?

Comment 1 Richard Kennedy 2015-11-09 15:35:16 UTC
The latest version shipped with Fedora 23, has dropped the link to the libstdc++ docs. So I guess you can mark this as fixed.

Comment 2 Alexander Kurtakov 2015-11-09 15:38:50 UTC
Marking as fixed as per reporter suggestion.
