Description Herald van der Breggen 2015-10-16 19:26:50 UTC
Description of problem:
As of Meteor version 1.2, for deploying the application, nodejs version >= 0.10.40 is required. This is more recent than Fedora offers atm.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
nodejs-0.10.36-3.el7.x86_64

How reproducible:
Install meteor, make an application, deploy it and when you run "node main.js", you will see "Meteor requires Node v0.10.40 or later."

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results:

Additional info:
I noticed even Fedora 23 has the older version of nodejs.
Many stable releases have been in the mean time, See
https://github.com/nodejs/node/blob/v4.2.1/CHANGELOG.md
So an upgrade would be welcome!

Comment 1 Herald van der Breggen 2015-10-17 11:18:15 UTC
Initially I submitted the bug report for Fedora 22, but since Fedora 23 has the same issue, I changed the fedora version.

Latest stable version is 4.2.1
Fedora offers version 0.10.35
