Description Matthew 2004-07-06 05:25:12 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040510

Description of problem:
In Fedora Core 1, the option to select manually select the packages
you wanted from a complete list was removed, and was not added again
in Fedora Core 2. If possible, I would like this feature to be added
again, similar to that in Redhat Linux 9.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
anaconda-10.0-5

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Simply run anaconda from the boot cd's.

Actual Results: The option to manually select packages was absent.

Expected Results: The option should appear.

This isn't coming back. If, instead, you have "interesting" packages
which you would like to select, we should find the appropriate group
to put them in and list them. Having users go through lists of 1500+
packages is ridiculous.
