Currently there is no statistic to say the number of files at a given time in each tier be it hot or cold.
The tier status cannot be used to interpret this as it is the total number of files promoted or demoted in the whole tiering volumes life time.

It would be good and informative to have a counter to say the number of files in hot and cold tier at any given specific time.
