Description of problem:

I looked in the dnf man page for groupinstall, and found that it is not present even though it works. 

Is this just a documentation issue?

If this is the case, I would like to contribute to fixing it. 

From what I can tell, I would need to look at the spec file and command_ref.rst file.

It is correct. The command groupinstall was replaced with dnf group install. We want user to use the new sintax even if old command is still working.
