I'm not sure about the savage chips, but it may be that XVIDEO support is not working. If so, the driver should probably disable XVIDEO completely so that fallbacks can work rather than show something broken. http://bugzilla.xfree86.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1205 Since this bugzilla report was filed, there have been several major updates to the X Window System, which may resolve this issue. Users who have experienced this problem are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of Fedora Core, which can be obtained from: http://fedora.redhat.com/download If this issue turns out to still be reproduceable in the latest version of Fedora Core, please add comments to the the X.Org bug http://bugzilla.xfree86.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1205 and we will track the X.org bug report, and review any fixes that are made available for consideration in future Fedora Core updates. Setting status to "UPSTREAM" for tracking. |
