We've had problems using mkinitrd to make initial ram disk images since we installed 6.2. The only kernel we have been able to get to boot correctly since this version came out is 2.2.14-12. The latest one we tried to install was 2.2.16-3. Dale Lovelace has access to these machines if someone needs to reproduce the problem.
