Description Carl George 2015-11-11 18:05:00 UTC
Description of problem:

OrderedDict is a backport of Python 2.7 class to Python < 2.6. EL7 has Python 2.7, so there's no need for this package in EPEL7.

Additional info:

There are two packages that require python-ordereddict that will need to be updated first.

python-pkgwat-api
python-taskw

Comment 1 Carl George 2015-12-02 01:46:08 UTC
Those two packages have been fixed. `repoquery --whatrequires python-ordereddict` now returns zero results. Please retire this package in EPEL7.

Comment 2 Troy Dawson 2024-07-08 22:20:27 UTC
EPEL 7 entered end-of-life (EOL) status on 2024-06-30.\n\nEPEL 7 is no longer maintained, which means that it\nwill not receive any further security or bug fix updates.\n As a result we are closing this bug.
