Description Eric Blake 2015-11-23 13:31:01 UTC
Description of problem:
SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/certutil from 'read' accesses on the file /etc/pki/ca-trust/source/anchors/RH-IT-Root-CA.crt.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests **************************

If you believe that certutil should be allowed read access on the RH-IT-Root-CA.crt file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep certutil /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp

Hi,
You probably move crt file from your homedir. This caused that crt file has bad SELinux context.

Use:
#restorecon -v /etc/pki/ca-trust/source/anchors/RH-IT-Root-CA.crt

Comment 2 Eric Blake 2015-11-23 15:46:34 UTC
Then isn't this a bug in the selinux troubleshooter gui, for not offering that as a suggestion? Usually, when I hit a SELinux problem that pops up the troubleshooting gui, there are two choices - report the bug, or run this canned command to fix the context. But for this one, there was no option to run a canned command.

Comment 3 Fedora End Of Life 2016-07-19 18:31:13 UTC
Fedora 22 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2016-07-19. Fedora 22 is
no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you
are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the
current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this
bug.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
