actually i checked and the issue is that /usr/share/applications/gpk-install-local-file.desktop is missing completely. Please add it back so that rpm's can be installed by a double click or directly inside the browser. sounds like an easy fix So, this was removed so that gnome-software can handle the open action. I guess installing gnome-software would fix this, but we probably need a smarter fix for upgrades. I think I fixed this with #1290868, right? Oliver, is this sufficiently fixed for your needs ? yes, it is fixed for me. Thanks. great, thanks Yes, when clicking on http://download-ipv4.eng.brq.redhat.com/nightly/latest-RHEL-7/compose/Workstation/x86_64/os/Packages/GeoIP-1.5.0-11.el7.x86_64.rpm Firefox offers Software Install.
