This is after it fails to bring up the interface? There's no messages related to any ethernet drivers loading - without any drivers being loaded, it certainly won't work. **shrug** I know a little enough about Linux to be dangerous! Why does it work after I reboot from WinXP and not when I boot directly into FC2. Let me know what other log files I should post - you will need to hold my hand a little bit on this! - Sorry! /etc/modprobe.conf, /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0, and /var/log/messages. If this problem is a security issue, please reopen and reassign to the Fedora Legacy product. If it is not a security issue and hasn't been resolved in the current FC3 updates or in the FC4 test release, reopen and change the version to match. Working only on a warm boot indicates a driver issue, most likely. Although we'd *like* to be able to fix all bugs in Fedora Legacy, we really only have the resources to focus on security issues. I'm sorry. |
