I can confirm that i cannot reach it as mass storage I can also confirm that Nikon D70 mass storage mode does not work for me under FC2. It used to work under FC1. Not working for FC3 (up-to-date with kernel 2.6.9-1.667) either. The same problems happen on all 5 different machines (all FC3) I tried so far. Going back to earlier kernel won't help either. Correction: the latest kernel version from my last post should be 2.6.9-1.681_FC3. Just for the sake of accuracy. Disabling EFI_PARTITION in kernel config will fix this problem. I have the same issue on FC3, and with the kernel-smp-2.6.9-1.715_FC3 kernel from http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/testing/3/SRPMS/ An update has been released for Fedora Core 3 (kernel-2.6.12-1.1372_FC3) which may contain a fix for your problem. Please update to this new kernel, and report whether or not it fixes your problem. If you have updated to Fedora Core 4 since this bug was opened, and the problem still occurs with the latest updates for that release, please change the version field of this bug to 'fc4'. Thank you. It works for me now in FC4 with kernel-2.6.12-1.1390_FC4. |
