Hi, my company provided me a new laptop, HP model 350 G2 (K9J05EA). The touchpad can be disabled by tapping (or double-tapping, I don't know) the top-left corner of the touchpad itself. There is a white dot printed on top-left corner (maybe a LED).

Under Fedora 23 tapping the corner doesn't produce any effect.

I already removed Windows and I'm not able to check the behavior under this OS.

unfortunately we don't have kernel support for this LED. Without it, disabling the touchpad based on a tap in that corner is risky as we don't have visible feedback to give to the user.

Until the kernel supports the LED, this isn't something we can integrate, so I'm moving this to the kernel and to UPSTREAM, we need this in the upstream kernel first. Feel free to have a go at it, afaik no-one is working on this atm.
