Description of problem:
synaptic is only showing the installed packages, not the full list available from the repo.

Furthermore, there is a sub bug:

synaptic is not recognizing its own repomd settings and outright rejects the deb and deb-src options for a repo, even when none are set to add. Rawhide is somehow selected when checking. repomd and repomd-src should be options where the deb option is.

Technically we could support both, but it may be easier to support repomd only and use alien or similar(as debian systems do with rpm files..but the other way around) in a script or method.

Synaptic is showing better than before.It is a wonderful package manager and could replace yumex in full if this is worked out.Synaptic supports version locking natively.

Also, added repos generally dont seem to have repomd files, maybe this is just an oversight. OLEA seems to have one but RPMFusion does not.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install synaptic
2.check the repo submenu
3.hit the refresh button(not much happens)

Actual results:
see above

Expected results:
this should work as is normal for debian based systems(obviously with rpms instead), maybe even allow for deb packages and deb repos.

Additional info:
used synaptic from debian/ubuntu
OLEA: get the right key, if you setup as-is, the repo for kompozer has a yanked gpg key. correct id is: 89F4CE7B. Dont forget to sign it.(which leads to another bug)
