Description of problem:
I installed the new kernel today via up2date.
After rebooting into the new kernel everything seems fine.
Then i have build a ntfs module with this scripts:
http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/rpm/build.html (i used the 2.6  one
with kernel-sourcecode 2.6.7-1.494.2.2.noarch ) 
After installing and loading it i wanted to reboot.
I typed the command reboot. It said System is goinig down for reboot
bla bla .... 
but nothing happend. Then i have rebooted with init 6 (it stoppend
while showing Preparing System for Reboot). Than i used the reset switch.
after booting i was'nt able to mount my ntfs volume.
I looked into /var/log/messages and found some errors (see attachment).
I have also installed the nvidia driver and it worked fine.
Acpi is on.
I have a AMD 2800 (Barton) and an MSI MB with a VIA chip.

Steps to Reproduce:

Actual Results:  I am unable to reboot without pressing the reset switch.
I can't build a working ntfsmodule.

Expected Results:  The system should reboot normaly.
The kernel should be able to mount an ntfsfs after building and
loading the ntfs module

from that page:

he's right, those instructions are entirely wrong for the FC2 kernel.

also you're using the nvidia module....

After uninstalling the ntfs module the and removing pci=usepirqmask
form grub the reboot workes fine

the script is really broken though.... and indeed will not result in
working modules (only sometimes by pure luck maybe)

Ok than i have to wait until the there is a precompiled rpm.
