Description Pawan kumar Vilayatkar 2015-12-24 13:16:49 UTC
Dear sir,

I have customer they are using Igel thin clients and Lenovo thick clients converted to Igel machines to connect to our RHEV environment. In our Igel configuration we can setup the resolution for connected screen (dual output) separately.

They are now testing if it's possible for some of our clients to use a larger and a smaller screen respectively with 1440x900 and 1920x1080 native resolutions.

When they force these resolutions in the Igel configuration and using the larger one (1920x1080) as the main display, we notice the spice window for the smaller screen is opening in front of the main screen spice window.

It looks like spice is measuring the resolution on just one of both screens, probably the main one, and then adjusts the spice windows automatically to this resolution. Since the resolution however is now to high the window for the second, smaller, screen it looks like it's opening both on the main, larger, screen.

>> Is it possible spice doens't support the detection of different screen sizes when using a dual monitor setup?

>> If supported, how can we configure this to work?
