Thanks,

due to bug #1293930 I need you to obtain the cupsd log manually according to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_debug_printing_problems#Getting_debug_information_by_other_means

Comment 3 Jiri Popelka 2016-01-07 14:52:33 UTC
hmm, there's really just 'Filter failed' without any context, strange

Comment 4 Alphakarem 2016-01-07 16:21:38 UTC
Yea that's what I thought. Nothing to go on. I wonder if my Kernel version has something to do with this Currently running 4.4.0-0.rc6.git1.2.fc24.x86_64.

Comment 5 Tim Waugh 2016-01-08 10:07:01 UTC
What 'journalctl' command line did you use? Just 'journalctl -u cups'?

FWIW, I've updated the wiki page because CUPS_JOB_ID is no longer used for the journal metadata; it's now JID.

Comment 6 Alphakarem 2016-01-08 22:29:06 UTC
Apparently The Printer was on it's last breath, after the successful test it died completely. Closing as it's most likely a hardware issue.

Thank you.
