Description of problem:
When trying to run execute query on RHEL6.5 with tog-pegasus version 2.12.0, cimcli xq command returns with CIM_ERR_NOT_SUPPORTED. It seems tog-pegasus 2.12.0 rpm package has not been compiled with execute query support.
I tried to run:
cimcli xq "Select * from PG_OperatingSystem" and respose I am getting is CIM_ERR_NOT_SUPPORTED.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
tog-pegasus 2.12.0

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run the command:
cimcli xq "Select * from PG_OperatingSystem"
2.Check the comamnd response.

Actual results:
CIM_ERR_NOT_SUPPORTED

Expected results:
It should enumerate the PG_OperatingSystem provider class.

Hello Ashwini,

Thanks for the bug report. You're right, the package is built without query execution support and we should fix that.

(By the way... cimcli is not shipped with tog-pegasus-2.12.0 on RHEL6, right?)

Hello Vitezslav,

Yes cimcli is not shipped with tog-pegasus-2.12.0 so i have nuilt myself and using the same.

Also agree that the patch you mentioned above can be used for further development and testing purpose. But can you please tell by what time we can expect this fix in the RHEL6.5 RPM package.

Also I would mention that this same support is missing in RHEL6.6....RIGHT?

Sorry, I can't - I don't know it. This depends on bugs prioritization and product planning.
