Description Jiri Prajzner 2016-01-12 10:25:24 UTC
Description of problem:
Please include standalone brightness control into Fedora by default. The best location would be under display settings (and not only under power settings - it's really counter-intuitive). The HW keys are not always working on all laptops, therefore people should be able to set brightness via SW control.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.18.3

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Settings > Display
2. look for brightness control
3.

Actual results:
There's no brightness control under Display

Expected results:
There's a brightness control under Display and not only under Power

Why doesn't the brightness slider on the drop down menu at the upper right of the screen work for you?

Comment 2 Jiri Prajzner 2016-01-13 15:08:34 UTC
It does, I completely overlooked it.
Thanks and sorry.
