The epel-release RPM is missing from the rhel-x86_64-server-optional-6 channel

Oops.  My bad.  I completely misread the wiki on fedoraproject. I read that page to mean that the epel-release package is *in* the optional channel, not that it *needs* the optional channel.

Truth be told, it would be nice if epel release was included in the optional (or extra) channel, but that's a point of debate I don't have the time to take up.

In any case, I'm closing this ticket as ERRNO60 (i.e., error exists 60cm from the screen).  ;-)
