Description Martin Weiler 2016-01-15 16:50:34 UTC
Description of problem:
This BZ is a follow-up on https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1296588

The changes applied in the earlier BZ restore the performance in the Authoring perspective to be similar with BRMS 6.1 with "Tag filtering" disabled (the default setting).

However, with "Tag filtering" enabled in the UI, the performance is still a lot slower than w/o "Tag filtering" enabled.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use a big repository with a large number of artifacts
2. Go to the authoring perspective
3. Open the big repository -> it should open fast
4. Enable "Tag filtering", go back to the big repository -> opening will be slow

Actual results:
"Tag filtering" reduces performance in Authoring Perspective

Expected results:
"Tag filtering" should not have significant impact on performance
