How reproducible:
Bug is reproducible on Dell XPS 15 (9550).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Leave wi-fi set to "On".
2. From terminal, perform a shutdown or a reboot.
3. OS hangs in the shutdown process.

Actual results:
OS hangs in the shutdown process.

Expected results:
Expect for OS to shutdown or reboot as commanded to computer from terminal.

Additional info:
Problem is not reproduced when wi-fi is set to "Off" at shutdown or reboot.

dmesg output from dell laptop, to troubleshoot system hang upon reboot/shutdown with wi-fi "On".

At this reproduction of the bug, the wifi was "On" and the computer commanded to power off from terminal. Computer logged user out of account and screen went all but blank, as usual, with only a blinking cursor, as usual, in the upper left corner of display. Computer was allowed to sit like this for approximately four minutes. Then, computer was forced to power off with power switch depression for five seconds.

We apologize for the inconvenience.  There is a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale.  Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 23 kernel bugs.
 
Fedora 23 has now been rebased to 4.7.4-100.fc23.  Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel.
 
If you have moved on to Fedora 24 or 25, and are still experiencing this issue, please change the version to Fedora 24 or 25.
 
If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.
