Which version of the "initscripts" package do you have installed? Does adding "noauth" to your /etc/ppp/options file help? I have the stock initscripts installed: initscripts-5.00-1 Putting 'noauth' into /etc/ppp/options fixes the problem for me. Thanks ... Please verify this with a newer version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Fedora Core and reopen it against the new version if it still occurs. Closing as "not a bug" for now. |
