Please remove this package from epel7. It was never working. This is still broken: Error: Package: 1:rubygem-rails-4.2.5-2.el7.noarch (epel) Requires: rubygem(actionpack) = 4.2.5 Error: Package: 1:rubygem-rails-4.2.5-2.el7.noarch (epel) Requires: rubygem(actionmailer) = 4.2.5 Error: Package: 1:rubygem-rails-4.2.5-2.el7.noarch (epel) Requires: rubygem(activesupport) = 4.2.5 Available: 1:rubygem-activesupport-4.2.6-1.el7.noarch (epel) rubygem(activesupport) = 4.2.6 Error: Package: 1:rubygem-rails-4.2.5-2.el7.noarch (epel) Requires: rubygem(activerecord) = 4.2.5 Error: Package: 1:rubygem-rails-4.2.5-2.el7.noarch (epel) Requires: rubygem(activeresource) = 4.2.5 I have attempted to remove the package using the instructions here, specifically for epel http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_remove_a_package_at_end_of_life It seems like it only halfway worked. I'll give it a week or two to see if it was completely removed using the automated way. Sorry, I am still working through the dependency tree for Rails. There were a large number of missing packages in the EPEL branches that still need to be built for Rails itself to be installable. The same error is still there... Any news? EPEL 7 entered end-of-life (EOL) status on 2024-06-30. EPEL 7 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. |
