Description eddy02 2016-01-31 15:58:57 UTC
Description of problem:

kernel-4.5.0 crashes with last proprietary nvidia drivers (358 361).
Seem's to be fedora specific, cause other distribs users dont complain.
ex: http://rglinuxtech.com/?p=1647

How reproducible:
when booting in graphic mode

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot in console mode.
2. logging
3. start xorg

Actual results:
reverting to nouveau driver.

Additional info:
i had no problem with the first version of this kernel.
The crash seem's to appear after 4.5.0-0.rc0.git1.1 but not sure cause
i'm using the kernel no debug repos.

Ssh with another machine shows that it's not a xorg problem but a kernel
crash after a memory map bug and a page memory dumped (dmesg with a remote machine).

Fedora does not provide or support proprietary drivers. Please take this issue up with nVidia.
