does your machine have a firewire controller ? No firewall controller I am seeing this on my system. Boots fine if I disable onboard firewire controller. The firewire controller on my audio card doesn't seem to be a problem. I disabled onboard IEEE and it boots fine. I also have a PCI IEEE card , but it's enabled and shows up in the hardware browser. P4 2.6 Asus P4C800 Deluxe Sapphire ATI 9600xt AC'97 Audio Controller SB Live! EMU10k1 mass update for old bugs: Is this still a problem with the 2.6.9 based update kernel ? No longer an issue with the 2.6.9 series kernels Fedora Core 2 has now reached end of life, and no further updates will be provided by Red Hat. The Fedora legacy project will be producing further kernel updates for security problems only. If this bug has not been fixed in the latest Fedora Core 2 update kernel, please try to reproduce it under Fedora Core 3, and reopen if necessary, changing the product version accordingly. Thank you. |
