Can you be more specific about the request; ie- which calculation should consider the IO threads and in what way? I don't know which CPU related scheduling calculations should be affected, AFAIK IO threads are not counted anywhere. Initial clue to how to count them is in libvirt documentation: "There should be only 1 or 2 IOThreads per host CPU." please check out with performance team. We didn't get to this bug for more than 2 years, and it's not being considered for the upcoming 4.4. It's unlikely that it will ever be addressed so I'm suggesting to close it.
