I'm pretty sure the microsoft messenger service is no longer functional, so is there any reason to not retire this package and keep it around?

Looks like I'm an pkg admin, here's a plan, I'll wait at least a few days, say till at least Friday, Feb 26 , and retire the pkg then if there are no objections by then.

As the owner, I completely agree with retiring this. I am not near a computer until the weekend, so feel free to retire it yourself if you like, or otherwise I will try and get around to it this coming weekend.
