Description of problem:
I need to share the etnernet port out to other devices which would receive DHCP addresses from my laptop. No matter how I try to setup the sharing with the GNOME NetworkManager GUI, it does not offer a way to do so. I do remember being able to do that many Fedora versions ago and so this would be a regression.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
latest versions on Fedora 23 x86_64
How reproducible:
follow below
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Choose the GUI interface to Network Manager
2. Choose the Wired link
3. Create a new profile and you cannot add a "Shared to other computers" option.
Actual results:
Nothing happens and the ethernet port is not sharing.
Expected results:
Ethernet port should be sharing out.
Additional info:
I tried to set up a new profile using nm-connection-editor and that has the option to share to other computers show up, but when the GNOME NetworkManager GUI is checked for the "new" ethernet profile, the option to share to other computers is not there for the newly created ethernet sharing profile.
