I would like more info.
I added Vmware provider 5.5 and then provisioned some VMs and many times went to Services->Request, but didn't see any errors. In which log file should the error be?

Comment 5 Shveta 2016-05-03 17:58:06 UTC
Please refer https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1310842.
Steps to reproduce :
Create a vmware provisioning request and select a template that exists in two datacenters .

Comment 6 Shveta 2016-05-10 21:39:10 UTC
Still see the same error . Attached logs

Comment 9 Greg McCullough 2016-05-12 15:39:03 UTC
This issue should be fixed with the merging of MR https://gitlab.cloudforms.lab.eng.rdu2.redhat.com/cloudforms/cfme_productization/merge_requests/223

Shveta - If you have this reproduced in your env we can quickly test by disabling the set_folder logic in the RedHat domain in automate.

Comment 11 Bill Wei 2016-05-12 17:56:23 UTC
Shveta,
I disabled the set_folder logic and ordered service 'data_item'. The request was completed.

    Merge branch 'master_remove_placement' into 'master'

No longer need to determine placement_folder_name

It has been set in provision/cloing.rb

    https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1313067
    https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1337049

    This is a clean cherry-pick from cfme_productization:5.5.z

    See merge request !268
