Description of problem:
I was trying to convert an ogg music file into wav. Yet my screen was bombarded by notifications about multimedia codecs needed making the desktop freeze and making soundconverter freeze too. I am not using a patent encumbered codec and do not wish to use mp3-s. Ogg and Wav are enough for me. Fedora can play wav withut the need for extra non-free codecs. Even when converting to ogg from webm sound converter still asks for the non-free codecs with a never ending string of notifications that can make the entire desktop freeze.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Choose an webm file
2.Convert it to ogg with sound converter


Actual results:
Soundconverter does not being the conversion and instead it asks for multimedia codecs in a non stop string of notifications that block the desktop. 


Expected results:
Soundconverter should not ask for multimedia codecs when these codecs are already present such as the free codecs that Fedora uses. Even if a multimedia codec is needed it should not send more than one notification, instead of an array of non-stop notifications.

I have checked further into the bug. Actually the ogg file was an webm audio file or audio video. Sound converter worked fine with ogg music files. Apparently for some reason webm is considered proprietary format though.
