Description of problem:
When booting the boot.iso from the rawhide tree 20040831, the
installer gets no further than:

* modules to insert forcedeth

VT4 has:

<7>ieee1394: Host added: ID:BUS[0-00:1023]  GUIDp00e01800005546db]

VT1 is a blank blue screen with 'Welcome to Fedora Core' and
key-bindings on the bottom row.

Is it better in 0901?  kudzu was a little screwy in 0831
