Description of problem:
In Authoring perspective it is possible to change branch, but once you move out of master branch new projects are still added into master. 

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible:
Every time.


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a new branch. I used command line and a git clone
2. Go to Author perspectice and move to the new branch
3. Make a new project

Actual results:
Nothing happens in the UI. If you change back into master branch, you find the new project.

Expected results:
The project should appear in the current branch and the Project Editor screen should show it.
