Description Marc Richter 2016-03-10 19:17:51 UTC
Description of problem:
There does not appear to be functionality in the hammer API to view content-hosts consuming a particular subscription.
This functionality seems to be available within the Satellite GUI but not via Hammer.

It is expected that this functionality would exist in the hammer API to perform subscription analysis and auditing.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Sat 6.1.7

Additional info:
Information missing form API is accessible via GUI:
Content > Red Hat Subscriptions
Click on A subscription 'count' ie: 22 of 26
Associations > Content Hosts

The information found at the above GUI view should be accessible via hammer

Logical hammer command would be:

hammer subscription associations content-hosts --id <subscription id> --organization <org>

Of course.. the following should also be available:
hammer subscription associations activation-keys --id <subscription id> --organization <org>

Surprisingly.. there is no subscription info available either? ie:
hammer subscription info --d <subscription id> --organization <org>

Per 6.3 planning, moving out non acked bugs to the backlog

Comment 6 Tom McKay 2016-12-12 13:08:53 UTC
This is possible to accomplish by using the API directly. The 'hammer csv content-hosts' command may also be used to export a file which then may be processed to find just hosts w/ a specific subscription.
