Description Damon Hill 2016-03-12 20:08:59 UTC
Description of problem:

I had to manually reinstall nVidia Drivers (NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-340.96) after updating Fedora 23 to kernel 4.4.4-301 using DNF.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Fedora 23 - Cinnamon Spin
VGA Driver: NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-340.96
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 240

How reproducible:

Everytime the system boots

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Update Fedora 23 to kernel 4.4.4-301 using DNF
2. Reboot using 4.4.4-301 kernel option
3. Log-in

Actual results:

It doesn't display cinnamon panel and a message shows asking to restart Cinnamon

Additional info:

After reinstalling the nVidia Driver, the problem solved.
