The following item must be addressed in Chapter 18, 'Proxies':

* "Only the HTTP protocol is supported by SPICE clients. If HTTPS is specified, the client will ignore the proxy setting and attempt a direct connection to the hypervisor" - This should no longer be the case since http://cgit.freedesktop.org/spice/spice-gtk/commit/?id=8fa0eb30ff791a159 (spice-gtk 0.24 + glib 2.28). EL6.7 / EL7.2 should have new enough versions of both (EL7.1 and EL6.6 only have spice-gtk 0.22). The initial sentence can be changed to "Only SPICE clients shipped in RHEL 6.7, RHEL 7.2 or newer support HTTPS proxies. Older clients will only support HTTP. If HTTPS is specified, the client will ignore the proxy setting and attempt a direct connection to the hypervisor".
