Description of problem:
Yum has been splitting out some nearly unreadable error messages
lately. See attachment.

 It's not evil, it's more like a typo. :)

I think I fixed that in cvs about 20 minutes ago.

Take a look at that error message again. Installing the RPM manually
worked absolutely fine...

Presumably the \n will be coming down the pipe in the next 48 hours ...
