Description of problem:

If I install the appropriate KDE package for my language (kde-l10n-de in my case), some very basic captions of the GUI widgets appear still in English.

How reproducible:


It is reproducible in some button captions like »Close« and similar. Those translations come from the qt5-qttranslations package. Maybe a full KDE installation pulls this package anyway, but I have only a few KDE applications running under cinnamon.

That's why it is needed to have that package in »Requires:« for all the sub packages of kde-l10n. Note, qt5-qttranslations contains *.qm files for all languages, it is not splitted per-language.
