For the process of verification 
1. Ran IOs on windows client and simultaneously switched ON and OFF the windows firewall.
2.Did a version 3 cifs mount
3. Ran dd command over it, as well as i ran perl CreateDirAndFileTree.pl /mnt/cifs/ 3 100000 150000 3 3

No issues where discovered. Hence moving it to verified.
