Description Rex Dieter 2016-03-21 18:17:18 UTC
Summary says it all, included power.sh already includes checks for various desktops, in particular, includes checks for kde4's kded4

Should update it to include additional check for kf5/plasma5 kded5 too

I only checked this on my f24 (alpha) install just now, but would be nice to deploy a fix as far back as f22 if possible, since that's the oldest (supported) fedora release that includes plasma5

Comment 1 Jaroslav Škarvada 2016-07-20 13:53:05 UTC
NP, I am not running on KDE, could you provide the names of the processes to check for? I am adding kded5, it's straightforward. Regarding the rest, are they literally named 'kf5', 'plasma5'?

Comment 2 Jaroslav Škarvada 2016-07-20 14:09:00 UTC
I have already fixed kded5 support in rawhide.

Comment 3 Rex Dieter 2016-07-20 14:35:10 UTC
kded5 is a runtime component (which can run outside of plasma), but that's probably good enough here.

Otherwise, you can also check for 'plasmashell'.

Thanks.

OK, added.
