Description Tomas Hudziec 2016-03-22 08:30:17 UTC
Filed from caserun https://tcms.engineering.redhat.com/run/273669

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHEL-6.8-20160215.n.0
mesa-demos-11.0.7-4.el6.x86_64

Setup:
 1. Ensure the 'nomodeset' kernel parameter is not set in your bootloader
    configuration
 2. Ensure the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf does not exist, or is a valid file that
    uses the valid driver
 3. Ensure that glxinfo | grep 'OpenGL renderer' does not return OpenGL
    renderer string: Software Rasterizer
 4. Install mesa-demos package

Steps to Reproduce:
 1. Run demo /usr/lib64/mesa/paltex

Actual results:
demo does not run, following message is shown:
Sorry, GL_EXT_paletted_texture not supported

Expected results:
Demo should run, there should be no obvious misrendering or crashers.

Is that expexted behaviour? (e.g. particular texture is not supported anymore...)
