Description Roman Hodain 2016-03-22 14:53:32 UTC
Description of problem:
The latest versions of hosted-engine are not able to deploy 3.5 hosted engine.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ovirt-hosted-engine-setup-1.3.3..3.4-1

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install the latest version of hypervisor
2.Deploy the hosted engine version 3.5

Actual results:
Host gets non-operational due to missing rhevm network. It is not possible to rename the network as the VM is already attached to the bridge.

Expected results:
Hypervisor get activated

Comment 2 Sandro Bonazzola 2016-03-23 09:14:08 UTC
I'm sorry, I don't understand.
Why is 3.6 hosted engine should be supposed to support 3.5 RHEV-M on a new setup?
If this is a new setup, 3.6 RHEV should be installed, not 3.5.

BTW, you can deploy hosted engine with a different management bridge name (rhevm) by passing: OVEHOSTED_NETWORK/bridgeName=str:rhevm in an answer file
