the i386 packages not being deleted is a definate bug (fixed in 4.3.31) the hdr issue is a bit more complicated, since yum/apt/dir repos require them to be kept around as a cache (RHN as well, but less so). Today ( Sep. 8, 2004 ) I did an update for my rhel 3.0 as for IPF system.
