This seems to fix the problem (from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1298655): As this is a RHEL 7.2 vm, we can copy the /correct/ certificate from /etc/pki/product-default/69.pem to /etc/pki/product. This would remediate the issue above at runtime. Alternatively, to fix the base image (until such time a corrected image is posted on the portal), one can use guestfish (provided by the libguests-tools package) Thanks Zuzana, I will do that.
